I will make this very quick and simple, as the title says I am moving blogs! I decided to collaborate with my close friend Kelly and we are working on a new blog together - and it's going to be live THIS WEEK!
So folks, I have to say goodbye to yepimyvonne - it was fun while it lasted and I'm excited now to share a blog with someone else.
You can head on over to Two in Solitude to get reading! Or, as of right this moment in time, check out everything that's under construction :P

My favourite author has been criticised for his simple style. Actually, he himself has even admitted that he really isn't very good. The author, Paul Gallico, once confessed to New York Magazine, "I'm a rotten novelist. I'm not even literary. I just like to tell stories and all my books tell stories...." (thank you wikipedia!). Still, his stories always strike a chord with me. Even in their simplicity, they capture the key elements - the emotions and feelings that a good story should invoke. In the same way these simple stories capture the essence of what he's trying to portray I feel this basic clothes combo captures a lot of who I am.

I dress to make myself happy, my T-shirts often feature childish designs. I dress to keep myself warm, I love jackets and over-shirts. I dress for photos, I love the limelight and will happily pose for photos . I dress for comfort, here you see me chilling out in my socks in one of my favourite places (my best friends home).
Gallico describes a character as having
"most sweet and gentle aspect heightened by the lively and kind expression in her luminous eyes"
and I'd like to hope that kind of describes me.

Since it's technically spring now it's time to wrap up what's left of winter and bring on some warmer weather! We've still been having some rather chilly days despite it being mid-September now but that's just another great excuse for me to wear my cat sweater:
My sister found this sweater on her way home in the city one afternoon and bought it for me - she said it reminded her of me, which was very sweet. I love this sweater, it does nothing in terms of keeeping me warm but the fact that it has pockets is a big plus for me. I kept everything else relatively simple and pulled out my Hellraisers just cos they needed a bit of love.
CHICABOOTI Cat Sweater, UNIF Hellraisers, Brandless Tights
Hope you're all having a fabulous week~!
Until next time,
P.S. have you all said hi to the newest contributer and my best friend, Kelly? Click here to have a look at her latest post :)

It can be really hard entering into something new. Contributing to this blog is a little intimidating, Yvonne is certainly more experienced than I am. Still, I hope you'll find my style unique and interesting.
Just a quick note: I didn't quite manage to get my shoes into my first lot of pictures but I'm just wearing some black flats with this so I didn't think it was a big deal.
A lil unfocused (but a nice view!)
SUPER cute with the cardigan!
And... I was a little excited by the sleeves!
